Next week our designers Karen and Kayla are off to High Point Market 2012. Through out the year, there are various markets across the county, that allow interior designers a opportunity to discover new products. Travelling to High Point Market  2012 allows the team at Gunkelmans Interior Design to be on the up of what is new, exciting and down right beautiful in the interior design industry. High Point is the largest industry trade show in the world and has over 11.5 million square feet of show space! This being said, if you can’t find it here, it probably doesn’t exist.

As Americans we tend to shower more often than luxuriate in a bath. But when we do take the time, we tend to want a bathtub that is made for relaxing, soaking and washing away the world’s problems.  Beautiful tubs come in many sizes and styles to fit any home and anyone’s tastes and some of the new tubs are even in finishes of copper and zinc that call us to the days of the original tubs, but in a distinctly more modern way.

Here are a few of our favorite tubs – from traditional to contemporary and everything in between.  Turn on some soft music, light a few candles, bring out the bubbles and relax the day away.
