Summertime, and the living is easy.   Well, at least a little relaxed.    When the employees at Gunkelmans Interior Design were asked what their summertime must-haves were, of course we all thought of the outdoors.   And why not!   There's so much to take inspiration from and enjoy in the quick summers that we have here in Minnesota!

Here are a few of our favorites:

Tom loves the flowering gardens.  The beauty of the colorful blossoms just mean summer to him.   And possibly an idea for a color to add to a home?

Karen can't live in the summer without her J Crew flip flops.  As soon as it's summer she restocks these cute printed flip flops every year.   I think we'd have to agree!

Summertime to Kari means having a pitcher of fresh lemonade always ready.   Nothing is quite as refreshing while enjoying time outdoors with a glass of this tartly goodness.   And, when it's cocktail time just add a little vodka.  Yum!

Ever get a little too much sun?   Dan can't live without his Clarins After-Sun lotion.    It helps to soothe that summertime redness and extend his GQ tan.

"The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades" must be Marita's mantra.   Nothing could be more classic than wearing Ray Ban Aviators, of course. 

The busy mom Jodi likes to spend time at the beach.   For her, no swimsuit is more beautiful than the ones by Maaji.  They're fun, creative and artistically original.
